This has been a long time coming…
For years now, I’ve asked myself this question almost every other day:
“how can I communicate the way it feels to stand somewhere so beautiful, and meaningfully share that with the people I care about? beyond just a reel or carousel on social media that disappears in 24 hours? like, I mean actually give it, in a way people can hold, put on their walls, and to discover the places I travel to, and get to inspired to go out there and experience it themselves…”
Well, I would be honoured to introduce you to my next passion project:
Souvenir Postcards used to be the way our grandparents shared their photos to one another. It’s how they discovered new places to travel to BEFORE social media and blogs existed. And during my short but sweet time in Brussels, I stumbled across them for the first time. I’d never seen them before, but I knew exactly what they were and how much they were about to impact my life (luckily this moment was bottled in time on the right! hehe)
As much as I use social media as a tool to connect with others, it sometimes feels limiting, and I don’t want it to impact how I share my recommendations, photos, and ultimately, how I connect with you. So, I’ve decided to bring back this lost art of souvenir postcards. It feels like the perfect way to share my honest, raw travel photos and recommendations to you, in a way that doesn’t just show beautifully aesthetic photos, but more so what a place actually feels like (there are thousands of photos that just never make it to my Instagram).
So, if you’ve ever watched one of my videos or seen my photos and wished you could step inside it, this is for you.
